WHY THE HELL DID THEY PUT ME IN THIS POSITION IN MY FIRST EVER SOCCER GAME????? MY FITNESS DOES NOT EQUAL “at the top”!!!!!!
(no wonder I felt like dying after the FULL GAME/no subs.)
To succeed as winger you should be able to sprint away from your opponents, be able to run 40-50 yards up and down the field, score goals and also serve your teammates with quality crosses. This requires of course a lot of energy which means that yourfitness needs to be at the top.
